Press Release: NATB Charity Kick-Off: $1.6 Million in NFL Tickets

National Association of Ticket Brokers Celebrates Seventh Year with Ronald McDonald House Charities® in 32 Football Cities, Helping Families During Difficult Times

Washington, DC - The National Association of Ticket Brokers (NATB) celebrates its seventh year partnering with the Ronald McDonald House Charities® as it kicks off its "32 for 32" program. For the past seven years, NATB has supported and will continue to support families in need across the country by donating 32 tickets for every NFL preseason game in each of the 32 NFL markets. NATB members also donate their time by volunteering in each of those 32 NFL markets annually. Since the program’s inception, NATB members have donated $1.6 million dollars worth of tickets.

"This time of year is one of our proudest as professional ticket brokers because it is a chance for us to work with an incredible organization and help families take their mind off their stress for a few hours while they enjoy an NFL game,” said Tom Patania, NATB President. “We look forward to another successful year supporting families staying in Ronald McDonald Houses. It’s amazing to think that our 200 members have come together through the ‘32 for 32’ program and dedicated $1.6 million in NFL tickets to these kids and their families.”

“RMHC keeps families with sick children close to each other and the medical care they need, when they need it most," said Sheila Musolino, president and CEO of RMHC. "Through the support of NATB and its members across the U.S., we are able to provide families staying at a Ronald McDonald House a chance to relax and enjoy precious time together cheering for their favorite team. We are grateful for the generous support of corporate partners, like NATB, who invest in our mission.”

On October 22, 2010, the NATB was made a member of the prestigious Ray Kroc Heritage Society and recognized on its Donor Wall, located at McDonald’s World Headquarters in Oak Brook, IL.

NOTE: NATB Regional Coordinators who lead the ticketing in each NFL market and manage the relationship with the Ronald McDonald House are available for interviews, photos, and more information.

About National Association of Ticket Brokers

The NATB was formed in 1994 by a group of concerned ticket brokers who desired to establish an industry-wide standard of conduct and to create ethical rules and procedures to protect the public and foster a positive perception of the industry. While the goals of the NATB are many, our primary goal is to represent the interests of legitimate ticket brokers by promoting consumer protection and educating the public about our industry. This is done by assuring the public that when dealing with an NATB member, they are working with an honest, reliable broker that will deliver what is promised. In addition, the NATB has created a platform that allows the public to report unethical conduct by ticket brokers.
